I once fell off a forty-foot cliff in Canada. I've backpacked the Pyrenees, ridden camels in the Sahara, and snowboarded in Austria. I've lived in West Hartford, Beijing, Chicago, Shanghai, and now Philadelphia.
It wasn't until a fateful trip to Southeast Asia that I fell in love with capturing the people, culture, and scenes around me. Soon after my travels, I left behind the corporate world. I've had the opportunity to work with global brands like: Nike, McDonalds, Starbucks, Architectural Digest, Shangri-La Group, Marriott Group, and Hyatt Group. I understand the nuances and uniqueness of each project, and am familiar with working under deadlines, around scheduling constraints, and with brand guidelines to produce the highest quality and professionalism to an image, but my favorite aspect of photography is its ability to tell a story.
I love how a single photo can convey an emotion and portray a personality through the simple tilt of the head, a look in the eyes, or the way light hits the face. I love how despite the technical demands of architectural photography, an image of a room can showcase breath-taking design and structure while conveying a mood, a feeling, an environment, and even a brand.
I'd love to tell your story.
